Nausea is the uneasy feeling in your stomach, usually followed by vomiting. When nausea arises, eating is the last thing on your mind. Even so, nausea can be caused by the wrong foods but helped with the right ones. In general, avoid acidic and greasy foods, as they can further worsen nausea. Eggs are perfect in this case because they’re small and nutritious. They have protein, healthy fats, vitamin D, E, K, and B12. You can find them scrambled, sunny-side up, or hard-boiled.


This can be walnuts, almonds, pistachios, or even butter versions such as peanut butter. They can be sprinkled or spread on a toast. Any pick will provide healthy fats and protein. 3

If you don’t like plain water, try carbonated water. This drink has been found to help with vomiting as well. For taste, you can add a few drops of lemon juice or slices. This also makes for a better drink than soda, due to the little sugar. 4
